  2. This is a late posted comment. I am not sure why this analysis is coming at this point in the class assignment. It would have made more sense scheduled earlier when the site in Red Hook was being analyzed. That said, it is an attractive presentation. I wish, however, that the aesthetic of graphics was closer to that used for the Red Hook analysis simply for the sake of uniformity.

    The amount of money put into this waterside development in Dubai is magnitudes greater than what could be anticipated in Brooklyn, unless oil reserves are discovered in Brooklyn. However, it is a good example of the transformations that are possible in this world given the availability of enough money, and technical, and organizational skills.

    I am looking forward to the development of your design for an aquarium on the site in Red Hook. Will there be a larger urban planning component as suggested by this site analysis?
